96. Licorice bouquet

I don't really know why I restarted my project just now, during one of the most stressful weeks of this semester... I should have known that this wouldn't go well... So today I am already one day behind (grml....).

Well, at least this evening I found something I could make a flower of: Some licorice leftovers from a package of sweets. Sometimes I like licorice, but not too much and not all the time - so it wasn't too hard for me to cut it into pieces and make a bouquet out of it instead of eating it. Maybe tomorrow...

95. Earrings #2

After I had spent most of the day preparing a presentation for next Thursday (which takes much more time than I had expected) I decided to take some time off to make some beaded jewellery. I found this picture of earrings and immediately fell in love with them. After some thinking I had figured out how they had to be made and started working.

This is the result:

BUT: This is not the only result =) While making the earrings I found out that it was possible to put a bead into the earrings. And, because of their shape, the bead didn't seem to fall out.
This fact offers great possibilities!! Now I can modify my earrings according to what I am wearing!

So those are the numerous different looks of my new earrings:

94. Pancake. Or: A new beginning.

This pancake should actually be the first flower after my break. I was making pancakes and all of a sudden I had the feeling that it was the perfect time to start again. I was really happy.

The next day I forgot to make a flower. This was so shattering that I gave up again. I was so upset because I wasn't even able to follow my new decision for more than one day...

So now here's my second second try. Maybe this time it will work. Hopefully!

93. Beaded flower #2

This was a Christmas present for one of my best friends. I think, it even looks more beautiful than the one I made for me =)

I also have to show you the present I got from her: A beatiful small pencil case embroidered with an edelweiss. I love this case - I even bought a fountain pen to have something to put into it =)

And this was a present of another friend. She is from China and knows origami (obviously much better than I ;) ). She made this wonderful flower. Every time I look at it I wonder how it is possible to make something that beautiful out of one single sheet of paper!

92. Christmas-Songbooks

After a break which became somewhat longer than planned I am finally (hopefully) back again =) (Here you can read about the cause for my break).

Here is a project from last year, before Christmas: I made several songbooks with Christmas carols for our traditional family-singing on Christmas Eve. I used my beloved stamped-out flowers instrument to, well, stamp out flowers, and used those flowers to decorate the songbooks. Here is one of them (the one where the flowers really look like flowers, not like stars ;) ).
