1. I made it!!

It's finally done. I created my own blog.
Actually I still cannot really believe it.
I never thought of creating an own blog... And now I'm sitting here after several hours of work, staring at my netbook and wondering how it got so far.

It all began with Lena (hey there ;) ), a very good friend of mine, telling me about her new project, a challenge she planned to spend the next year with: To get a bit of starshine into her life by creating a star each day.
I realized quite soon that I liked her idea. Adding a constant factor to each day, dealing with something that fascinates me for a whole year, being creative and trying new things - those were things I somehow needed too.

Now, after deciding to join my friend in the circle of creative crazyness all I needed (well, except from a blog to document my daily crazy... ehm, creativeness) was the topic I wanted to deal with each and every day of the following year. This was quite simple: FLOWERS! I love them, they fascinate me, I cannot imagine a life without them... Well, and I have to confess that this topic may be one of the more simple ones and as I'm not the most creative person in the world (and actually even not among the people I share my flat with) this might have been an additional factor in my decision...

So here I am, still staring at my blog ... MY blog ... (have to repeat it a few times to finally believe it) and waiting for the things that will come up within the next 365 days.
And I'm really looking forward to them =)
