Today again I wasn't very creative. So here's another dish, presented as flower: Quarkkeulchen (a Saxon dish made of potato, curd, egg and some other ingredients) with apple-compote. I ate it on our sunny balcony. It was delicious =)

17. Autumn flowers
When I was sitting on our balcony today, looking at the numerous plants my mother has planted there, I finally realized that autumn is also coming in South-Western Germany. I decided to do something against this by tying, sticking (thank you Tesa!) and sewing leafs to the caulises of faded flowers. I think, the result is quite interesting =)

16. Flower in red
Today, after some thinking about flowers that don't have to do with food, I rediscovered a technique I did a lot when I was about 7 years old: Folding a round piece of paper, cutting some patterns into it and unfolding it to see the outcome. I like it because you never really know what it will look like.
Actually I wanted to do lots of flowers like that, but my motivation only held for one. I like it anyhow.

15. Fruit salad
Once again breakfast inspired me for today's flower:
And if now you think I'm a bit hoggish, talking about food all the time, I must say: You're right ;) Especially at the moment. This very healthy and very annoying diet I am doing makes me even more food-focused than normal. But it's getting better - tomorrow I won't present to you another flower made out of food. I promise!

14. A flower a day keeps the doctor away
Today for breakfast I ate a delicious apple from my uncle's tree. It tasted even better with those flowers on it =)

13. Cat food
At the moment I am at my mother's home. So I have the chance to be with our lovely cat Nele =) She inspired me for today's flowers:
They are made out of cat food (if you haven't figured out yet ;) ).
If I can catch her eating them, I will post the foto tomorrow ;)

12. Some nosework
Today I was in Heidelberg at a big festival called "Heidelberger Herbst". There I also went to Kaufhof (a big shopping center), actually just to use their toilet ;) But when I arrived at the perfumery section I remembered an idea I already had in the beginning of my challenge: To find the most bloomy perfume.
So I did some nosework and found this one: Oh, Lola! from Marc Jacobs. It was very bloomy (and still is on my test strip) but I also liked it quite much.
Then I asked the saleswoman which perfume, in her opinion, was the most bloomy (as I wanted to come to a well-founded decision) and she showed me Diorissimo from Dior, a scent with lilies of the valley (Maiglöckchen) in top, middle AND base note (and thus quite dominant). She convinced me that Dior is the king of bloomy perfumes. And, I have to confess: I didn't like it very much... (and still don't, on my test strip).
So, if you ever come to the point in your life where you are in need of a very bloomy perfume, from this day on you will be prepared =)
